Relax with Marcelino

Every massage is custom-made to fit what your body needs the best at that time. Throughout the massage I use different techniques and styles to help release the tension. Here I will explain the different modalities that I know and incorporate into the massage so that you have a better understanding of how it works. If at anytime you're curious or just want to try a different style, please let me know so that I can provide you with the best experience possible.

Circulatory/Swedish
Massage

A technique that mostly uses long, slow strokes all over the body to provide a relaxing and healing experience. All session include circulatory to promote blood flow and to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to help you forget about outside distractions and focus on yourself.

Pouring Massage Oil
Massage

Deep Tissue Massage

A slow and deep technique during the session, the goal is to find and release the tension in the muscle called knots, or adhesions. This massage is meant for people that have chronic pain or are looking to increase their range of motion.

Sports Massage

Meant for anyone that has been physically active or had any past injuries, Sports Massage uses friction and repeated movements to promote healing in the area and to break up scar tissue. Meant to be less relaxing and more rejuvanating.

Massage Therapy
Medical Thai Massage

Shiatsu

A form of massage that focuses on holding points along the body's meridians to improve energy flow. There are 12 meridians in your body from head to toe that connect to different organs. By holding these meridians, it is believed that they help any of the corresponding organs become stronger and healthier.

Assisted Stretching

By using a combination of PNF (Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and pin and stretch techniques, it reduces the tension in the area while increasing your range of movement.

Thai Massage
Cupping Treatment

Fire Cupping

By using glass cups, a suction effect is created and placed on your body to pull the skin and superficial layer of muscle into the cup. This helps with pain and inflammation and encourages blood flow to the area to promote faster healing.
